Refund policy
At Umai , we take pride in the quality of our products and service. Below is our refund and credit policy to ensure clarity and fairness in all transactions:
1. Out-of-Stock Products (Our Error)
If you purchase an item that is later found to be out of stock due to an inventory update error on our part, a full refund will be issued directly to your original payment method. We take full responsibility in such cases and aim to resolve them promptly.
2. Damaged Deliveries
If your order arrives extremely damaged, we will issue a full credit in the form of a gift card or discount code for use on a future purchase.
To qualify:
- Clear photos of both the damaged packaging and the product must be submitted
- Claims must be made within 5 days of the delivery date
We do not issue credits for minor cosmetic imperfections and reserve the right to assess damage claims.
3. Missing Packages
While it is extremely rare for a package to go missing due to our end-to-end tracked delivery system, we understand unforeseen issues can occur.
If you believe your order is missing:
- You must notify us within 48 hours of the marked delivery time
- We will initiate an investigation with the courier to determine the cause
- If the package is confirmed lost, a full store credit will be issued via gift card or discount code
Important: If the shipping address provided at checkout was incomplete or incorrect, this policy is void and no refunds or credits will be issued. Please double-check your delivery information before finalizing your order.
